Debbie Did Stuff is the writer's brand of Debbie Ables — a Georgia-born, Kentucky-rooted writer and storyteller. She shares friendly, positive, useful stories and tips worth sharing, from survival and resilience to family, food, and faith. It's grown from a cute throwaway letter into a biweekly publication with a shop and puzzles.
Maggie is Debbie's beloved Border Collie — Kentucky born, Border Collie smart, and an expert in think, eat, and nap. She's the Chief Morale Officer and greets every reader (and every Debbie-homecoming) with pure joy.
A new issue lands every other week. Each issue is a complete story — and every one comes with its own interactive crossword and word search built from that story's words.
The stories are free to read right here on the site. The shop (journals, mugs, dog bowls, totes) and the newsletter are how Debbie keeps the lights on and the stories coming — but the stories themselves are for sharing.
