A five-year transplant from California, Lorraine and her husband, Wally, enjoy living in Bardstown, KY. The hospitality, special friends, seasons, and natural beauty of the area fuel their creative endeavors. As an instructor and one of the founders of Words of Women (WOW), Lorraine enjoys the writings and friendships of a talented group of women who meet to learn the craft of writing and express themselves through poetry, fiction, and memoir.
As an advocate from the 1960's, she works to preserve our Democracy, the rights of LGBTQ+, and the right to vote. Since moving here, she is learning how to paint, decorates for each season, and enjoys cooking for others. She shares her whipped cream and the couch with a beloved cat, Alexander, who stopped by and stayed four years ago.
